While the first comment was trolling, it is actually pretty good advice. It was helpful to briefly look over exam 1/the first half of the course and restudy some fundamental topics that may have been challenging in the first half (e.g. arithemtic intensity or calculating speedups).
I've found this to be fairly true in all classes whose later midterms supposedly test only the later material. There are always fundamental concepts from the first few weeks that will show up in those exams.
