The channels are probably Red, Green, and Blue for images. I don't know whether anyone has started also trying to run depth through a neural network along with RGB.

@Firephinx I would think that HSV is used more because it represents colors closer to what a human sees.

YCbCr can also be used but is asymmetric: Y is really important, it corresponds to the brightness of the image (black and white image); Cb, Cr are "the blue-difference and red-difference chroma components"
