We need to convince Prof. Kayvon that we've done a good job, and while it may be tempting to simply reduce the resources available to the system (e.g force the algorithm to run on one core rather than 16), we should probably write a convincing sequential algorithm as well to truly test the performance gains that we are seeing by using a parallel implementation.
