I know ISPC uses caches but does anyone have any explicit details about the caches and how ISPC utilizes them? For example, how big are the caches and is what is the average hit/miss rate that ISPC gets. Is ISPC efficient at utilizing caches in terms of speed or in terms of having a high hit rate?

EDIT: sry for the late update, but i figured out my doubts shortly after!

@element03: Could you please rephrase your question since I did not understand the comments "ISPC uses caches" and "how does ISPC utilize them?"

ISPC is a programming language. It is used to express programs. Those programs are compiled into binaries and executed on CPUs. The implementation of those CPUs may contain caches.
